We are experts in online coffee auctions, with over 10 years of experience operating small volume Specialty Coffee Microlot Auctions.
Our platform (www.sensible.coffee) provides farmers with access to international buyers across 5 continents. We reliably managed sales of $2.6mn of high quality green coffee through our platform during 2021.
Working with some of the best producers in the world we have helped bring some of the most exclusive and exciting coffees to market, often breaking world record prices. During 2022 we set a new record for the world’s most expensive coffee, selling a coffee for Lamastus Family Estates for $6,033/lb.
However, the reality for many coffee producers is different. They struggle for market access and they often don’t cover their own costs of production.
We are actively working on solutions to bring larger volumes of coffee to market for our farmers and generating greater direct trade sales for these producers. We are looking for a Specialty Coffee Salesperson to help us develop and drive sales in this new area.
You will help us develop and manage specialty coffee sales through our auctions, post-auction sales and additional sales through our platform.
We are evolving our platform to create a sourcing tool for buyers to buy coffee from the producers who work with us. Equally we are putting together tools to help producers operate their business and find new buyers. This is and will continue to generate many sales opportunities, and we need you to drive this sales cycle as it becomes an important revenue stream and source of growth for the company..
You will be working closely with the Head of Coffee, our Logistics Manager and Marketing Team to:

£35,000 to £45,000 basic + Commission; OTE £65k+
