Assistant Manager Full Time

Procaffeinated is looking for a friendly, outgoing and confident assistant manager to join our expanding team at our flagship site, on Chapel Street, just outside of Manchesters Spinningfields. 

With a view to become manager in the near future, we expect candidates to be able to maintain our current high standards whilst motivating and training current and new members of staff. The majority of your responsibilities will be on the bar/floor so its essential that you can lead by example, taking orders, making high quality, high volume specialty coffees whilst simultaneously managing the shift, organising breaks and maintaining quality control standards. You must ensure other members of the team are working productively and operations run efficiently whilst keeping customer service standards. We do get very busy, so we are looking for someone who loves the thrill of the rush, is energetic and thrives in a fast paced environment, delegating and supporting staff to ensure everything runs smoothly in every aspect of service.

Reporting directly to ownership, you will aid in back of house tasks which may include rotas, ordering and inventory checks, ePOS updates, updating allergens, staff training protocols, opening/closing checks etc.

About you:

Previous management experience essential
Specialty Coffee experience essential with exemplary latte art skills
Strong leadership skills
Proven ability to build and train a team to manage high volume sales
A natural leader, who delegates as well as leads by example

We are looking for someone who can commit to 35+ hours per week, with weekend availability, working primarily on the bar/FOH. Even on admin days its essential that you complete the barista/floor duties whilst simultaneously managing the shift.
