We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our growing team in the role of Training and Aftercare Coordinator, working alongside operations to assist the sales team and our wholesale partners to deliver technical aftercare alongside ongoing training and support.
The ideal candidate will be a keen barista, will have a working knowledge and experience within the speciality coffee industry in particular and have a thorough understanding of espresso machines and grinders. They will enjoy working with customers and the general public and will have a proactive attitude, able to work independently as well as part of the growing Hundred House team. They will be an earnest and avid learner, and similarly eager to deliver positive learning and support experiences for our wholesale customers.
The role is in tandem and close coordination with the Wholesale Account Manager and line managed by both the Wholesale Account Manager and Operations Manager.
Responsibilities –
• Assisting wholesale customers with their everyday requirements – from machine support through to questions around dialing in coffees
• Troubleshooting and diagnostic support on machines and coffees
• Ongoing training support for wholesale customers – from initial training and setting up new customers to regular check-ins – both onsite at the customer’s location and at the roastery
• Liaising with wholesale customers and engineers to oversee equipment installations
• Perform site visits and carry out audits to identify operational and training requirements
• Understand customer needs and develop plans to address them
• Developing and rolling out strategies for customer retention and maintaining strong relationships
• Setting up and managing the in-house roastery training area to SCA standards
• Management of equipment servicing calendar
• Support the roastery with operational tasks where required
Requirements –
• Experience in brewing and serving speciality coffee
• Experience in barista training and leading groups
• A demonstrable understanding of coffee equipment – espresso machines, grinders and water filtration
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• A full UK driving license
• Plumbing and electrical experience is a bonus
• The candidate will be expected to travel across the UK and will be provided with a vehicle
• You will be based out of our roastery in Ludlow, Shropshire
