Customer support and dispatch assistant

Start date early February (or sooner depending on availability)

Job description:

Customer support via email and phone: This will involve assisting our online customers with all aspects of the ordering and delivery process.

Assist on dispatch: Assisting with packing and fulfilling orders, printing labels

Assisting with other roastery duties, including making coffee for customers.
Skills required:

Experience with administration and a high standard of computer skills is essential for this job role.
Good team skills and lots of own initiative, flexible as job roles sometimes overlap.
Clean driving license and own car.
Good barista skills with latte art.
Good organisation and able to work independently.
Experience with coffee is required.

Horsham Coffee Roaster is a small family owned business located at Unit 5, 1a William Way, Burgess Hill, RH159AG. We roast our coffee on a Loring S35 and operate a small café space at the front of the roastery. We are currently looking for someone with good motivation who is able to work as part of a small team and also on their own without assistance and supervision. This will mean answering emails and phone calls to assist customers with ordering and supporting them with ordering and delivery issues. You will also be required to assist with the running of dispatch and that will involved printing labels and packaging orders.

As a small team roles sometimes overlap so you will also need to assist with other roastery tasks including cleaning and making coffee for customers in the small cafe space. They may also be an opportunity to provide some training and support to our trade and wholesale customers.

The role is full time Monday to Friday and you must own your own vehicle with clean driving license.

Salary: Full time £28000
