An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a friendly company where you will be trained as an Espresso Machine Workshop Engineer.

Coffee Cup Equipment are a market leader in Espresso Machine Rental in London & the South East. Our Full Care rental service includes unlimited servicing and breakdown cover so our customers can serve coffee without the stress associated with equipment maintenance.

After a few years of heavy use an espresso machine starts to fail mechanically mainly due to a build up of scale in the system. This is when we provide our customers with a replacement and the old machine needs refurbishing.

The role of the workshop engineer is to disassemble the scaled up, tired looking espresso machine. Systematically descale, clean and refurbish the parts and then proceed to carefully rebuild the machine. A lot of the perishable parts are replaced for new and the panels are either resurfaced by the engineer or re-sprayed professionally. The job of the workshop engineer is to make the old machine look and perform like it’s new, so the next customer who uses it is happy with their espresso machine. Once completed, all machines are tested by our field service engineers before being signed off as safe & ready for use.

Our workshop is based in West Molesey, Surrey and work hours are 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. We are a small, friendly team and will provide, full on the job training for the successful applicant.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable in a workshop environment & preferably has some mechanical & basic electrical experience. Beyond this full training will be provided. What’s most important is a willingness to learn and can-do attitude. A high level of productivity is required and so self-motivation is essential. No formal qualifications are required.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: £22,000.00-£24,000.00 per year depending on experience.
