**About you**

•             Excellent precision coffee making and latte art knowledge and skills essential

•             As happy to roll with the quiet days (sometimes working alone during initial reopening weeks), as well as managing fast-paced weeks with a team and queues out the door

•             Maintain the friendly, relaxed and welcoming atmosphere of KOA whilst efficient delivery of coffee etc

•             Strong time management skills

•             In-depth knowledge of the speciality coffee scene and a genuine passion for coffee and a thirst for discovering more

•             Self-motivated with a hands-on approach

•             Ambitious and keen to hit revenue targets which will be met with bonuses

**About the role**

•             Responsibility for the day to day running of the coffee shop

•             An autonomous role with exposure to all aspects of running a speciality coffee shop

•             Ensure excellent food and drink service at all times

•             Organising the staff rota

•             Managing ordering and stock rotation

•             Taking photos and contributing content for social media channels

•             Contributing to the monthly meetings to choose our guest roasters

•             Ensure all equipment is maintained and kept impeccably clean

•             Technical knowledge of La Marzocco machines and Mazzer & VA Mythos grinders

KOA opened it’s doors in 2015 and quickly gained a reputation for the best flat white in the area! We serve predominantly takeaway coffee to our regulars who are a fun mix of people from the many independent creative/media businesses in the area and local residents. We have seating for 4 inside and 8 outside.
